After 6 hours,21 minutes and 18 Km walk in light rain, with the backpack and throbbing feet just reached the Pontevedra Pilgrimsin Hostel. Wondered how we feel? So .. we are still less than half of our destiny, but we're already in love with this life of Pellegrino.

For those who know nothing about the Saint James path. Let us explain a little:

After six days walking 115km traveled to Santiago. The path in the second part gave us the best scenery and we can know Wilma and Adelia more.

Lama no CaminhoWe got stronger rain when we left Pontevedra and the path was very wet making the trek heavier and slower. Had stretches that practically only had mud and rocks in the vegetation.

With the effort of the first 3 days, I had a problems my knee. Thanks to Adelia got a ride half way between Briablos to Pontevedra and (after 10km traveled on foot). It was a group of Portuguese who had a support car. They kindly took us to "Caldas de Reis" where we stayed. I looked for the local hospital and was very well attended. The doctor said it was nothing serious. Prescribed the antibiotic and asked to "slow down the walk", because He knew he could not ask for a pilgrim to stop the walk

We can say that there are still good people in the world. We left the Hostal directed to the Vigo bus station (Autobuses) which is 10 minutes walk from the hotel where we stayed.
With packs on our backs and pulling the bag started to walk and when we arrived at an intersection where we would begin a steep climb well, I questioned because of the rise to Evandro if we were in the right direction ... after all my knee still hurts me and I was not animated up the street.

Yes We found the frog in Salamanca.Of course after looking at some wrong places ... but the important is that we found it.In this lovely city of Spain, also known as the Golden City, is hidden among hundreds of sculptures on the facade of the historic university is one of the greatest treasures of Salamanca: a frog! According to the story if you find it (without asking anyone for help!) you will have good luck for the rest of his life and a happy marriage.

Salamanca is well known for its wonderful architectural ensemble, composed of one kind of yellow

Catedral Nova stone that gave the nickname "Golden City" to the city. In 2002 the city was named "Culture European Capital". We invite you to make a return to the past with us. This city was one of our most interesting experiences until now.

We arrived at dawn on june, 01st because the bus was delayed a little. We went straight to the hostel which was a little over 900 meters from the road.

We came to the capital and largest city of Spain at dawn on june, 02nd. Madrid have nearly 4 million inhabitants and is, with Lisbon, the financial and political center of the Iberian civilization.

When we arrived around 00:30 at the bus station we encounter the remarkable structure of transportation in this city. The system bus, train and metro are all integrated and even though we arrived at dawn in a few minutes got to Plaza del sol, ground zero of Madrid in the city center. Our hostel was a few meters from the subway "Sun' station.

Palácio Real

On the morning of day we visited the current Royal Palace which was built from 6 April 1738. The old palace was destroyed by a fire which lasted three days in 1734.  Today the palace is only used for festive occasions by the royal family, who chose to live in a simple palace to preserve privacy.

Along the Palace is the Cathedral of "La Almudena", which is 102 meters long and 73 meters to tall, its architecture is a mix of various styles: neoclassical abroad within Gothic and neo-romantic in the crypt. There is a difference of this cathedral for the others, its orientation is north-south while the other is east - west.

A água é MUITO FRIA.
